QuickAppointments allows patients to schedule their own medical
appointments in real time with no clinical staff interaction. |
QuickAppointments allows patients to go to a clinic’s web site where
they either create an online account or log in. Patients must
create an online account in order to use the system. After they
have done so, a patient may schedule appointments directly with their
doctor by specifying which healthcare professional they want to see, at
which location, and what kind of appointment they need. This
information allows QuickAppointments to determine how much time is needed and what is available.
The patient is then provided with a calendar of available dates and
times from which to choose. Once the patient has made a selection, the
appointment is scheduled.
Integration
Sophrona works closely with a number of practice management system
vendors today and can easily develop new interfaces to other practice
management and EMR systems. We have rarely found technical feasibility to be an issue
and are capable of addressing nearly all integration requirements in order to ensure that the online scheduling systems properly
coexists with your practice management system.
