Online bill payment allows your practice to collect faster payment while providing patients with greater convenience. 

Allowing your patients the freedom to pay their bills by credit card or electronic check (ACH) from your web site is critical to providing an array of flexible payment tools to your patients.  This is especially important as patients are increasingly responsible for a larger and larger portions of their bills as patients move to higher deductible insurance coverage.

Patients may pay one time bills online using a credit card or, may use check information to make an electronic (ACH) check payment, or may enroll in payment plans resulting in multiple charges to their credit card over time to cover payment of a larger bill.

Our bill payment system allows patients to access a secure payment portal, branded for your clinic and to provide payment.  Our browser based secure office portal applications allows clinical staff to view payments and to apply them to patient accounts.

How does it work?

Patients receive their bill in the mail and see printed at the bottom that you accept online patients along with your web site address.  The patient goes to your site, clicks 'pay online', provides credit card or check information depending on payment method selected, and they are done.  Payment is deposited into clinic account within 48 hours.

Billing Office Staff

Billing Office staff accesses Sage Office Portal to review all paid bills and applies these to patient accounts. This usually takes place at some predetermined fixed interval and doesn't need to be done throughout the day.  Payments can also be reviewed during down times so as to provide workload leveling.
